Being able to stand on your own two feet, sometimes requires getting knocked off them completely…

McKenzie “Kenzie” Lane is newly graduated from college and looking forward to a dream internship she has lined up for the summer in LA. Unfortunately, her controlling mother has other plans.

Once Kenzie realizes this may be her last opportunity to gauge her long-time crush’s true feelings, she puts it all out there in the form of a bet. It’s the perfect idea for her perfect man.

Will a dose of reality lead to true love? Or will it crash and burn before it can even get started?

Bet Me Something (Something Series Book 3) is a brilliant piece of writing! Aubrey Bondurant brings the characters together in a way that the story flows smoothly. Kenzi has been given an ultimatum on where she is going to complete her studies. She wants to stay in L.A, but her Mother wants her to come home and go to Georgetown. Her Mother tells her to move back or she is cut off. She doesn’t even want her to stay in L.A. for her summer internship. Now, her brother’s best friend tells her if she needs to stay with him during the summer so she can do her internship, and not worry about rent. This is such a great love story. Red Queen (Chronicles of Alice) is a twisted take on an old classic. The story line and world building are very well-developed. Alice and Hatcher have just escaped the old city. Everything was to be green and beautiful, but when they arrived out side it is nothing but a scorched wasteland. Now Alice and Hatcher have to find out what caused the fire that burned the land, while looking for Hatcher’s daughter.  They are in for a twisted adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat. I loved this story and the way Christina Henry has portrayed the characters. This version of Alice is my new favorite classic. I recommend this book and series to everyone. I give RED QUEEN  5/5 STARS.

No One But You is a heartwarming story. The characters and story line is well-developed. I love a good Leigh Greenwood story! In this book we get to see some of our beloved characters from the Seven Brides series. Sarah’s husband was killed in the war. Now, Sarah has two young children to raise and a ranch to run, but she is not able to pay the hired hands.  When they find out they want her to pay in a different way. So, Sarah decides to to marry a stranger to help her. She goes to the Randolphs for help in finding her a husband. Salty is a hand at the Randolphs ranch.  Rose tells Sarah that there is only two men on the ranch that would be good candidates for marriage and Salty is one of them.  Salty is great with her two kids, especially Jared who is crippled. Flameout (A Souls of Fire Novel) is the third book in this series. I have not read the other, because I didn’t know it was the third one. I definitely plan to go back and read the others. I loved the characters and story line. They were well-developed and everything flowed seamlessly. Emberly is a Phoenix, and someone is wanting to take away her fire. Without her fire, she will be unable to defeat those infected with the Crimson Death virus or the Red Plague as it is commonly known. In her searches to find the missing witches, she has to find a way to counter the spell that can take her flame. I loved this book and recommend it to everyone. I give FLAMEOUT 5/5 STARS.
