About the Author

Bill Runner worked as an investigative reporter before turning to writing.
He has created the Axel Blaze series of books. The next books in the series
will be released in 2022. Bill has been a lifelong student of martial arts
and has trained in Karate and Krav Maga. Working the crime beat and studying
the art of fighting helped make him the author of nail-biting thrillers.
Bill’s writing won him an award for debut authors at the London Book
Fair.

About the Author

Vahid Imani was born in Tehran, Iran, and made the United States his home
in 1979. He earned his master’s degree in 1980 from Gonzaga
University’s School of Business in Spokane, Washington. At the turn of
the century, he transitioned to the world of fine arts after a career in
high-tech as a business executive. His opinions and insights about the arts,
history, and international politics have been shared in articles, public
lectures, and mass media.

In 2014, he debuted as an author with his award-winning middle-grade novel
“Naji and the Mystery of the Dig”. In February 2019 he released
his historical thriller, “In the Shadow of the Kingmakers”. In May
2020 he released his Memoir, “Like the Wind I Go, A memoir of Iran,
America, my struggle to freedom” Imani is the father of three children,
grandfather of three, and lives with his wife in California.

About the Author

A Naval Academy and Naval War College graduate, Thomas M. Wing retired
after thirty-two years as a Navy Surface Warfare officer. He served in
guided missile destroyers and frigates, as well as with destroyer squadron,
cruiser destroyer group, numbered fleet, and Joint Task Force staffs, where
he planned and executed real-world joint operations at the operational and
strategic levels of war. He also participated in naval combat during
Operation Praying Mantis in the Middle East in April, 1988. He has taught
Coast Guard licensing courses and has held a variety of sailing licenses,
including Master and Master of Sailing Vessels, Upon Oceans. As well, he
founded and served as Executive Director for the Continental Navy
Foundation, which conducted experiential education at sea for young people
13-17 years of age. He also commanded the Foundation’s tall ship, the
brigantine Megan D.

His novel, Against All Enemies, resulted from a random thought during a
period of political tension between China and the U.S. What if that
political tension included cruise missiles flying in from the sea to strike
the San Diego waterfront? Thomas M. Wing resides in San Diego with his
wife and daughter, two cats, and a dog. He still spends whatever free time
he has on the water.

that there are unorthodox paths to triumph, even thru gloomy, violent, and
wildly unreasonable circumstances, especially those your parents, teachers,
or anyone who is supposed to care won’t vouch for. Dead-honest as she
is, she will likely make you laugh out loud and challenge you at your
core.

Having left her home country, friends and family, and her acceptance to a
creative writing course, she searches for fulfillment and revolution against
practically everyone, in a holiday resort in Scotland. Her growing contempt,
unrecognized brilliance, and unfulfilled gifts and desires send her from one
shithole to the next. There is a straightforwardness to the narration that
makes us really understand her when no one else does, which makes this
character study so engaging. This is not an easy character, but the honesty
she gives us is handed right to the reader with the stomach to discuss
it.

About the Author

ANJA HØVIK STRØMSTED is an author, filmmaker, and artist of
works of fiction, short and feature films, music and music videos,
photography, and visual arts. She has studied Creative Writing at Gothenburg
University Valand School of Fine Arts and Film Production at New York
University Tisch School of the Arts. “The Dead-Honest Truth According
to Tazz ”, is her first novel.
