I love the Argeneau series! The characters and storyline are always well developed. Beth has sported a crush for a long time. Beth is Scotty’s life mate. Now throw in a mystery of someone trying to kill Beth. This throws Scotty and her together and he cannot ignore it any longer. He must claim her. I love the humor that is always in a Lynsay Sands book. If you have not started any of the Argeneau series, I urge you to do so. I recommend this book to everyone. I give Immortally Yours 5/5 stars.

Climbing into bed behind his lovely professor seemed different. At the clubhouse, neither of them felt particularly at home. It was clear that Barbara felt totally comfortable in her own home, though. The strange part was that Ace felt very much at home there, too.

This is all kinds of weird for me.

My house must seem like a tiny doll house to you.

It feels more like a warm, safe nest thats been made enticing by the addition of a beautiful and accommodating woman. Im feeling a bit like the worlds last dodo bird or something.

In that case, we had better start making babies before you go extinct.

The last time you said something like that it triggered a little episode of self-loathing. Pulling the blanket up around them, he murmured reassuringly, Dont worry, this time I have my head screwed on straight. Im intentionally not using a condom and will be trying my best to make ugly little dodo babies with you.

Youre so funny.

Ace frowned. Why do you want to get pregnant?

Fertility stays relatively stable until around age thirty in women. After that, it begins to drop off slightly. Since I gave my marriage a dirt nap, I suppose Ive been worried about missing my window. Eyeing him with heated admiration, she continued, Youre a big, strapping biker. You look like you could get the job done with some swimmers to spare.

Moving closer, he grinned. This is like a whole new side of your personality that Ive never seen.

Running her hand over his chest, she laughed. Its the neurotic and slightly panicking side.

Jerking his chin for her to give him a kiss, he murmured, It looks good on you.

Rather than following his nonverbal communication, she asked softly, So do you have baby-related secrets to share?

Reaching out, he wrapped one arm around her and dragged her close. Sure, but I dont think you wanna hear them.

I do, so cough it up.

Spanning her stomach with his hand, he said, Ive thought about how nice it would be to see my child growing inside you. Youd look really sexy with a baby bump. Id be one of those obsessed dads who listened to your stomach and told our little princess stories so shed get used to my voice. Since I dont know any stories fit to tell a baby, wed have to go to one of those fancy bookstores and buy some. Maybe wed get one of those fancy coffees you like so much.

Her eyes damn near sparkled. Thats about the sweetest baby secret I ever heard.

Looking down at his hand on her stomach, he whispered, Id have to be really careful, cause I wouldnt want her to be scared when she saw me for the first time.

A great addition to this series. I love this book. The characters and world building are well-developed.  Antimony is on the run from the Covenant. She ends up in California at Lowryland, a knockoff of a famous amusement park in California. Things start to heat up when accidents start to happen in the park. Antimony must find out what is happening or die trying. This book has been a great read, and I recommend it to everyone. I give Tricks for Free (InCryptid) 5/5 stars.

Realization hit Damien as to who he was staring down. The same dark god that had challenged him stood in Lilith’s form. Damien’s heart inside his chest burned as he thought about Kain and all he’d done for him. Jill. Dad…Rob…Gabriel…Holt…Chelsea.
“Looks like it’s just you and me, Damien. You can surrender and die in peace or you can fight and die anyway. Your choice.”
Save him. Luna’s voice inside of Damien’s mind drew his attention. Save him. I beg of you. Please.
Damien’s body became surrounded with a radiant light so bright it forced Lilith step back. Her wing covered her face. He braced himself on his front legs, roaring at the monster in front of him responsible for taking so much.
The light became so intense not even the lycans could stare at it.
When it finally faded, Damien stood in his true lycan form. His white fur blew in the wind like mist at the tip of his stiffened ears to the end of his tail. The dark markings of his wolf form only seen on the tips of his ears, feet and tail. The fur on the back of his neck was thicker, almost resembling a mane.
“By the gods, he looks like…” Lune stood in awe.
“Tenebris.” Gabriel’s finished, his voice nothing but a whisper.
Stoker used the opportunity to sneak off, nursing the wound on his arm inflicted by Gabriel when he shifted into his full lycan form.
The vampires hissed at the light rising from the east, trying to flee towards the waning night. They had fallen right into Damien’s plan and were intercepted. Howls and snarls joined dying screams as the vampires were overwhelmed.
“What trickery is this?!” Lilith’s fangs spat as she tried to speak.
Damien ignored her, seeing the fear in her eyes as he made his way over to Kain on the ground.
The alpha was so weak he couldn’t retain his shifted form.
“Kain.” Damien’s voice was a comfortable echo. Warm and reassuring. “Alex. Can you hear me?”
Kain opened his eyes, slightly jumping. “Tenebris?”
Damien shook his head. “No. It’s me.”
“Damien. How?”
Damien took Kain’s jacket he was always wearing around his waist and covered his friend with it. “Stay here. Don’t move and don’t die.”
He stood back up and went to face Lilith. The lycans in his way stepped aside, their heads bowed. “This ends here, Lilith. You won’t hurt anyone else.”
