TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE WITH THE WAY YOU SPEAK

As human beings, we have a deep need for social connection, yet our primitive
fight-or-flight response can be a major barrier to achieving it, leading to
misunderstanding, conflict and disconnection.

Fortunately, there is a solution.

The Human Language delivers a compelling message. By replacing our habitual,
learned patterns of communication we can experience greater understanding,
empathy and connection in our relationships, transforming our lives.

Through easy-to-follow chapters, this book introduces The MECAnism, to calm
your instinctive reactions, gain emotional clarity and develop psychological
safety. It gives you the practical tools and techniques to listen, speak and
act in your daily life with compassion, for yourself and others, enabling you
to meet your needs with confidence.

“I will recommend using The Human Language 1000 times. It helps me
verbalise my feelings and work through moments of overwhelm. There are
applications across all areas of life.It can, and will be, a transformative
book.”

Pam Bryant, Oxford, UK

“Penny uses just enough science to help the reader understand why they behave
the way they do while focusing on simple techniques to get to the heart of
change.

The Human Language should be required reading for anybody who has to work or
live with other people, which is most of us.”

Diana D’Ascoli, Philadelphia, US

Excerpt

We all have the ability to re-engineer our relationships, and trade self-defence, blame and inauthenticity for understanding, compassion and trust, leading us to a greater sense of inner peace. We just need to find the right way to communicate.

The Human Language provides just the solution. Through practical tools and techniques, its MECAnism framework empowers you to foster a healthier mindset, to listen empathically, speak authentically and ask for what you truly need, turning conflict into understanding and connection.

In doing so, we not only bring about personal improvements in productivity, relationships and self-worth but also create a world where seeking understanding becomes the default approach.

A Journey to Discover the Divine Within

Spiritual, Inspirational

Date Published: January 8, 2026

good reads button

Where is the true self that we have all been seeking? The Truth not only
answers this question, but explains how to become it and find deep, spiritual
happiness, and love.

From an early age, the author sensed that the world, as it appeared, could not
offer the lasting happiness she sought. This inner knowledge led her on a
lifelong journey of self-inquiry, spiritual awakening, and profound
transformation. Through moments of clarity, struggle, surrender, and divine
connection, she began to uncover a deeper reality—one that exists beyond
thought, identity and the external world.

The Truth goes beyond the outer forms of faith and explores the inner,
spiritual meaning of life, which is universal to all. It gently guides the
reader toward awareness, self-honesty, and inner stillness. Through lived
experience, reflection, and spiritual insight, it explores themes such as
Iove, detachment, suffering, consciousness, prayer, and the rediscovery of the
True Self.

This book is for those who have questioned the nature of happiness, felt a
quiet longing for something more, or sensed that beneath the noise of the
world lies a deeper knowing waiting to be remembered.

This book is a follow up to “Trans in the time of trump” as the
cruelty and fascism of our new country only increased. The problems with my
doodles are that prior to transition they kept me alive. However now that they
have become my voice of activism their fuel is cruelty, and there is
absolutely no shortage of material with this administration.

Where once Doodle was just a joy for me now we’d all be better off if I
had nothing to draw.

About the Author

RABT Book Tours & PR

I am a trans special education teacher and 10 years ago I started cartooning
books for kids and parents that were in trouble. I did 8 books for kids that
were picked on or disliked, and then my country went away.

In the face of treatment of trans people, brown people, and the growing abuse
of all minorities I had to change Doodle from a comforting friend to a mirror
I could hold up to rednecks.

She is my activism. A far cry from my mother’s activism in the 60s, but
it is what I can add to the fight.

Memoir, Animal Rescue, Inspirational

Abandoned. Injured. Left to fate on the harsh streets of Romania. This
is the story of a paralyzed street dog named Nayeli—who refused to give
up.

Struck by a car and left for dead, Nayeli’s fate seemed sealed. But against
all odds, a few strangers saw the fire in her eyes—and chose to believe
in her. Their belief sparked a rescue effort that crossed borders, challenged
assumptions, and gave one fragile life a second chance.

In Germany, Nayeli found a human who saw not a disability, but a soul worth
fighting for. Through unwavering love, gentle care, and the quiet power of
daily perseverance, Nayeli’s resilience led to a life she was never supposed
to have—a life worth living.

Nayeli: More Than Just a Survival Story is a deeply human tale of courage,
quiet love, and the unspoken bond between a soul in need—and the one who
answered.

This is not just a memoir. It is a soul journey through darkness and dignity,
and a quiet tribute to what happens when hope refuses to die.

If you’ve ever believed in second chances—or felt that silent pull to
protect a life more fragile than your own—then Nayeli’s story will
linger long after the last page.

For those who have ever fought quietly for a voiceless soul. Or mourned one.

This journey is for you.

About the Author

Valina Aust logo
Some books are more than just stories—they are bridges. Bridges
between past and future, between despair and hope, between those who have a
voice and those who are unheard.

My book is dedicated to the forgotten souls—the countless stray dogs
fighting for survival, the shelter dogs longing for medical care, and the
puppies hoping for a safe home. It tells the story of resilience, of those who
refuse to give up despite overwhelming odds.

But this book is also about the people who stand by them. The ones who
don’t look away, who dedicate their lives to giving these animals a
second chance. They are the unsung heroes of animal welfare, and their courage
deserves to be seen, shared, and remembered.

By telling this story, I hope to build a bridge—one that connects
awareness to action, compassion to commitment, and readers to a cause that
truly matters. Because every rescued life is proof that change is possible.
